Hi Everyone,
Pardon my ignorance, but what does the MF mean in
"“ARGENTINE BALL END
Acoustic jazz guitar set light tension
REFERENCE : 1610MF”
...?
Thanks,
Mark
I think it's medium strong. But in French. Moyen fort. Just a guess.
It means the gauge is a little higher e.g. 1510MF has thicker strings than the 1510. Or are you asking what the letters literally stand for? I don't actually know, but all bad mofos use the heavier strings.. 😋
Thank you!
Maybe Samuel Jackson would know!
I thought his strings were the 1510BMF and 1610BMF....or was that the code for the heavier bronze strings? Hmmm😝
I think it stands for Mezzo Forte, a term used in classical music to indicate medium strong either in tension or in volume
