Hi all, as mentioned in another thread (https://www.djangobooks.com/forum/discussion/comment/102366/#Comment_102366) I have an original of the above tape with most tracks digitised, and will attempt to post them here in parts, if my internet connection permits. Here is part 1 (tracks 1-10): First 3 tracks from Samois 1978 (Boulou+Elios Ferre with Svend Asmussen, Raphael Fays), next 3 Raphael Fays at home, next 4 Boulou+Elios at a Russian restaurant in Paris, Sep 1978. Since the copyright on performances such as these resides with the performers and/or tune publishers, and not the compiler, I trust that no-one from Ian's circle will mind me re-publishing these. For the track list and additional information, refer the previous post at the link given above. Enjoy... Regards Tony

Thanks Ted... if the concert from Samois 1978 was broadcast over the radio, maybe there are some better/different recordings in existence (plus more of it) elsewhere as well? In any case, I have got the rest of the GGFF tape organised for posting and here are the remaining tracks (as mp3 files, as before).
I mistakenly started uploading these as wav files (notionally better quality but larger files), could not find a way to delete these via this interface so you get them as well (not the whole set though...)
Tracks 11-13 (Matelo Ferre) are clearly studio recordings and most likely are copied from "Tziganskaïa" I would think...
As per the list posted earlier (other thread), these tracks are by Matelo (11-13), Raphael Fays at Club Bilboque, Paris, 1978 (14-17), Mondin + Ninine (18) and Maurice Ferre + Joseph Pouville (19-20), last 3 at "a bar in the flea market in Paris" (presumably La Chope des Puces), July 1979.
It seems that some of the 1978 Samois festival also exists as video recordings (perhaps broadcast TV), e.g. Svend Asmussen, Boulou & Elios Ferré and Louis Vola playing "Minor Swing" (uploaded by Teddy Dupont) on youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zm-veVCBplc, also Maurice Ferret & Joseph Pouville at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlnoYLHcdS0 - Cameraman was obviously pretty close for the latter!
