Wrembel Saga

JackJack western Massachusetts✭✭✭✭
Hi all,

I just remembered that during one of the Django in June concerts, it was mentioned that Stephane is about to come out with a Wrembel Signature Saga...I wonder if anyone's heard anything about it? I don't see anything on the Saga site.

Best,
Jack.

There are a few Saga instruments that are not on the site.... and that you can't get yet.

another that I know about is the new DG-330 that will be an all black version of the DG-300 but it will have Mahogany back and sides.

    Cheers,
    Josh

I emailed Stephane about the Saga guitar and this is what he wrote back:

Hi Josh, that's true, but I don't know anything about
    woods or whatever is technical...

    Cheers,
    Josh

    Jack,

He was playing the prototype at Django in June. When I asked him about it all he said was that it was patterned after his old guitar (neck shape, bindings etc.). He had just received the prototype and thought he would play it for a bit, give them comments and suggestions, have them modify the design, if need be, and then release it. It didn't sound like there is a timetable for release yet. But the prototype sure sounded good, no? Especially in his hands.
