    Anyone have a transcription of Joscho's descending lines turnaround over the last 8 bars between 28-31 seconds in the video clip? Cheers Phil

    you may look for a Bireli transcription as that is often the lines he uses on Hungaria.

    Is that one of Django's well used devices? @Wim Glenn posted his transcription from After you've Gone some time ago

    and I think this is the same idea, just from listening to it.

    Those licks above (on Wim's site are ascending and the one here (Joscho) is descending. I have seen it played a few ways but his way may be the simplest.

    it is simply a Cmaj to a C minor to a G Major to a Bb minor with a chromatic melody on top matching the chords as they descend.

    Love that ending. Too bad Joscho isn't having any fun. 😂 Love the interaction between them ~3:10 after Joscho does those chord stabs.
