Gypsyguitar Academy and iTunes

Has anyone figured out how to download the mp3's from Joscho Stephane's Gypsy guitar Academy into iTunes on an iPhone (10)? I can do it on my mac no problem but not on the phone. The tracks on my mac won't sync with the phone cos they all have the grey ineligible cloud icon with the line through, next to them. Can't do it on my iPad either.

Any help appreciated

I think you need a subscription to Apple's iTunes Match product to do that. It's hard to find, but it's here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204146

Otherwise I think you need to synch by hooking the phone or iPad by cable to a Mac and synch manually.
