This Henri Miller is fully intact and functional. I do not know the exact year but based on similar models this appears to be a 1950's creation. The neck is strait and is completely playable. Here is everything that I have observed with this guitar:
- 680mm scale length
- Booming loud rhythm box, great for La Pompe!
- Tone is full and single notes are “bell” like as you would hear on old recordings like Tchan Tchou Vidal
- Guitar is structurally sound
- Frets are level
- There are nicks and scratches, sound hole binding a bit misshapen, please look at the pictures
- Guitar plays like butter, very little force is needed.
- The neck is fat but I have no problem playing it and I have small hands and small gloves
- Action 2.6mm / 2mm
- New Strings
- 16” Lower bout
- Vintage reverse tuners
- 3 piece top
- Basic construction guitar (Not a Di Mauro or Dupont)
