Hi folks

My trio made a few video recordings in the early days of covid restrictions, our attempt to stay connected with each other & to keep the music alive at a time when the gigs were gone. I thought I'd share our latin version of Out Of Nowhere. Note that we're outside & more than 6ft apart! Also, the audio ended up quiet, so you'll have to turn it up to hear it. I'm playing my trusty Altamira M-01D here, which I bought new from Michael in 2016.

That's nice, it brought spring over here! Really, such nice groove and feel, thank you.

    Looks like a fun session.

Nice that you seem to have 2 cameras filming too.

We do, thanks Bill. The session was filmed by the bass player's friend, a musician who really enjoys shooting/editing video. I think he had as much fun filming it as we did playing on it.

Thanks Tom, I appreciate that. My old busking partner once said that most gypsy songs could be played latin, so my trio has had fun spicing up quite a few of the standards that way.
