Anyone know where I might find a recording or tab for this hymn played by Denis Chang on a recent YouTube video?

@Twang I figured it out by ear but didn't write it down. If you'd like I can try to soundslice it?

That’s very kind, thanks. Sounds like a lot of work for you though. Won’t that take hours?

    Yes it did 😂

My basically non-existent notation skills may be part of the problem, as well. Here it is:

For 2021 I want to improve my notation skills, so this exercise was very welcome. Although, I think the notation could be more accurately (I guess it's completely wrong most of the time). And doing stuff that may help others motivates me more than doing it just for myself.

Please report back how you like it. ✌️

@adrian Feature idea for soundslice: Something like pull requests, so a slice can be improved continuously by other community members. What do you think?

@rudolfo.christ This is brilliant! I'm overwhelmed by your generosity.

    Thank you so much!

Now if you're free this week I have some gardening that needs doing? 😁

I've just been playing through it and it looks like you've done a great job. Definitely being overly modest about your notation skills!

    Wow that’s cool!

BTW FYI, for bar 39 it’s not an E9 chord but an A13 on Bb flat bass :-)

and bar 100, i added the open B string as well to give the unison chorus effect, but great job

Wasso recorded this on a private album for the Christian Evangelical community. It has a bunch of musicians from the Dutch Christian community, including Stochelo’s mother and father!

I have that album somewhere, but maybe there are clips on Youtube

    Thanks @dennis,

Hearing this from you means a lot to me 😊. I corrected the slice.

Above seems to be the original called "Cantique".

Hi great job and thank you for sharing! FYI cantique is just the French word for hymn.
