Good news, my documentary "Roger Chaput, from Bals Musette to Django Reinhardt" is now subtitled in English!!!
You can activate the subtitles (FR or ENG) for a better understanding and to see the additional editor's notes. (Thanks to Claire Elzière and Jean-François Rigal for the subtitles).
Roger Chaput, accompanist of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli since the creation of the QHCF (Quintette de Hot Club de France) in 1934, was interviewed by Dominique Cravic in 1994. He recounts his beginnings in musette balls, the arrival of Jazz in Paris, his experience with the QHCF, and his life as a musician and painter after the war in Toulon.
