Maybe the true connoisseurs of the matter do know this already π΄, but for me it was completely unexpected π²: Django and Naguine Reinhardt with Jean Sablon, singing:

The section after 1:25 reminds me of Cab Calloway scatting (not the timbre, the notes), they certainly knew his music. As a singer, I was delighted to find this googling and youtubing around on the sofa this afternoon βΊοΈ (headache and general weakness because of covid-vaccination, too sick to practice, but still interested in the really important things).π
