    Anyone know why the inside is varnished. Did he have a bit left over that needed using up?

    A varnished interior helps project the sound and adds a little more volume.

    Original Selmers were lacquered inside. What plexi said and I also heard they make the wood more stable when it comes to seasonal changes.

    It’s a Nomade April 2017 . Their cheapest guitar and has a bolt on neck. It’s fabulous, I love it.

    Congrats Twang! I too acquired a new Marin last fall and I instantly fell in love with it. I still love my Corazon mind you but they are two very different voices. Both beautiful but quite different.
