... and today I found this drawing. 40 years ago (note the walkman) it was part of a poster announcing my very first guitar workshop for primary school kids.
Not a drawing, not even a guitar, but the wooden figures are playing stringed and brass instruments as I do. My beloved wife found this old mirror at the flea market:
In 3rd grade in our primary school (https://schule-bahrenfelder-strasse.hamburg.de/), all children learn to play a musical instrument. Last week they were taught how to treat the instruments, and how to put and stow them in their cases and bags. Yesterday they were allowed to take them home!
Tiago didn't manage to finish his drawing with the other children of his class - but I think, it was worth waiting for this fine guitar.
What is most fascinating for me this time is the obvious pride, happiness and joy that the children express in their drawings, as they finally received their instruments. DurIng the few weeks since school had started after the holidays, my collegues and I were asked a hundred times "When do we get our instruments?"
Nella playing ukulele and singing, a guitar and a clarinet, teacher playing drum.
Leyla, 6
Musical lesson.
Aidina, 5
Teacher, playing guitar.
Emran, 5
Drum.
(The drum is the tiny object on the right side. The big drawing on the left side is a bit off topic: batman and his nasal secretions. No kidding, I asked Emran, because I did not realize what he had drawn.)

Love the perspective of that guitar in the foreground!
