I got hold of this jpeg a few years ago. I can't remember exactly where I got it from but it might have been from here. The guy who posted it said he saw it in a museum I think.
For me, it's the coolest pic of Django I've ever seen and I'd love a big print that I could frame. I took it to a local photoshop who made me a postcard size of it but refused to do it any bigger cos they said the resolution (quality or whatever) was so poor.
Anybody got any suggestions or a better quality jpeg etc?

For me, it has everything. It looks professionally "framed" not contrived or cheesy. He is at work in the studio with all the cool vintage paraphernalia about him. You can see his famous hand, his heavy lidded gypsy eye(s) and his Selmer looks cool from this angle.
I just wish he was smoking!😁
May not be to your taste,
but I just tried cropping slightly and colorized.
Good job on the cropping.
Wow It definitely looks good. I prefer the black and white but not because it looks better. Actually I like both. So cropping means colouring in?

Haha brilliant @Willie !
So cropping means colouring in?
Its trimming the edges of a photo - in this case mainly to remove the extraneous part of the wall on the right and bring Django more to the fore.
Thanks, kinda obvious now you say it. I'm not very techie though. Is there a way of improving the quality of my jpeg so I can blow it up (no puns please) without it pixelating. Anyone got a magic wand?
@Willie is that a cigarette or different kind of stimulant? Which, latter would make perfect sense with Django's dreamy eyes. I think here he's saying "no record, let's just jaaam Stephane"
... we will never know for sure ...
