Update--I swapped out my .11 for a .12 on my Altamira M-10 on last night's gig & it sounded and played so much better. A simple solution to a relatively annoying issue! I may experiment with beefing up the B as well (as others have mentioned in this thread), but for now, I'm enjoying the subtle but noticeable improvement of a beefier high E. I really appreciate everyone's help here.
