Matte Finish

Hey all. I bought a Dell Arte Minor Swing awhile back and it had a matte finish on it. I haven't seen any other guitars with this and I was wondering if anyone knows what this is. I've had it for two or three months and as I play it leaves a dirty looking film on the guitar and when I scratch that off there is regular shiny finish underneath.

To fix this... clean the top with water on a cloth and then get some auto buffing compound and buff it to a shine. I did this with a D-500 I had years ago that had a matte finish. It worked really well and helped with the bad marking. It took me a good 3 hours to get it to look right so make sure you have some time to work on it.
