I stumbled across this video of a recent GJ concert in St. Louis and it was pretty well done except for some background noise. With live music being few and far between, some may enjoy this live show. I was especially impressed with the guitar playing. I think Charlie plays a Bumgarner and Luca plays a Dupont MD50, and they sounded awesome.

Great show. Everybody is really, really good. Luca and Charlie have such different styles, it's nice to hear the contrast. Charlie has super impressive, whatever you might call that, gypsy flamenco rasqueado, with the pick. He seems to have no limit to how fast and at what frequency he can do that. Everyone's playing is top.

I think when Charlie is doing that, he is channeling Amati Schmitt. That is a technique that Amati uses quite often.
Here is an example of what I am talking about.
Yeah he does it here during his solo. Charlie mastered it as good as Amati.
Yup. Charlie does a great job with it for sure. Glad to see that someone else other Amati do it. Gives me hope for learning how to do it myself.
I finally got inspired to start working on this stuff. Boy, lots of sweat and five days and some hours later I got somewhere but I think it's a long way to go before I can actually pull it off on the gig.
