A recent advancement in technology, a cool contraption that decreases ambient humidity. It's called a dehumidifier.

And if anyone was really wanting to follow this "advise", maybe try damp rid or other desiccant strategically placed in the soundhole while in the case.

Yeah but say you're at the bar and start talking to a fellow guitar player and you tell "I put desiccant in my guitar..." vs "I put cigarette ash in my guitar..." which one is more likely to buy you a beer to finish the story?
