Maybe it's already been said, but if you can find someone local, a lead player, who's at your current level or slightly better, you could meet once a week and just jam for fun. NOT for "reality testing" or stressing on perfection. Playing GJ is a social thing, and the experience of interacting and enjoying playing together is part of being a GJ guitarist.
We have a local weekly jam here in Madison that we both regularly attend. Usually 4-10 people show up, of those 3-5 are guitarists of varying skill levels.

Worst case scenario is that you may be forced to update your BIAB software as I did a few months ago… I think it cost me about a hundred bucks US.
