Back again with another demo video. This time it is of Favino style guitars made by two gentlemen named Cyril: Cyril Gaffiero & Cyril Morin
There aren't many back to back comparison videos of GJ guitars online, so I like to make them to hopefully help out anybody seeking more info.
Sorry as always for the terrible playing but hopefully you get an idea of the sound of each guitar.
Interesting note: Gaffiero #80 was built for Mogeli Geisler. Hence the name on the headstock.

These are fun. Keep'em coming. So Morin is D hole? That one is super Favino honky.
Yup. It is a D-hole. It definitely has that Favino honk. Good contrast to my other guitars.
Spruce top. Laminated rosewood back and sides with rosewood on the interior of the body. 9piece maple neck. Ebony fingerboard. 666mm scale. Compensated bridge.
For those who don't know, Cyril Morin played guitar in the band Latcho Drom alongside Christophe Lartilleux.
Cool demo Mr. Geese.
The D-hole rosette treatment, and the fingerboard design in the highest fretting area, aren’t something I have seen before (either one). I kind of don’t like the fingerboard partially hanging over the D-hole, even though that’s the traditional way, personal opinion only.
Also, nice to hear the guitar comparisons on Savoy.
