Asking $899 plus shipping but happy to strike a deal with a forum member, its christmas for (#&#@) sake! Professional setup (usually at a cost of $150)

  • plays great at 2.5mm action at the Low E, 2.0 at Hi E
  • neck is straight and plays cleanly with the fretwork
  • custom bridge

Cosmetically speaking this guitar has barely been used, the lightest of pick marks are visible and overall very good condition, no dings or cracks. Brand new Daddario gypsy strings (light) and a roadrunner hard poly case to keep her safe in travel. The only thing that sucks about this guitar is that it is not in your house.

Thanks - Dean

Laminated mahogany neck sandwich- that’s a good design choice.

Also from a design standpoint, “fabulous figured wood” on the backs and/or sides of a GJ guitar, are a cosmetic thing only, in a traditional SelMac build. Traditional GJ builds of the backs/sides use a 3-ply laminate, that is by design structurally strong and acoustically neutral/inert. Haven’t done it but I think you could use super-cheap wood for the backs/side lams and it wouldn’t negatively affect the sound at all (the lamination process and adhesive being much more critical)
