A collection of 1415 gypsy jazz play alongs from Youtube!

Hi all!

I've started the Gypsy Jazz Play Alongs project around a year ago.

I't a website that collects all the gypsy jazz backing tracks available from Youtube into a single place. No more browsing around through youtube 😅

We're at 1415 backing tracks as of now, i usually update the database every month or so.

Excellent work jpcafe, you've done a great service to the community. I don't use playalongs as much anymore but this is really an outstanding collection.

This is the greatest thing ever. Much easier than scouring Youtube. I found playalongs from people I’ve never heard before.

Any way you could identify the tempo of each one, right up front in the title?

Hi, it’s possible but it would be inconsistent as some users add the tempo in the title others don’t.

Also if you notice the titles you see in the app are different than the original titles on YT - this is because I’m editorially changing the title so you don’t see long titles “Minor swing - Gypsy Jazz Play Alongs / Backing tracks”.

Unfortunately I don’t keep the original titles in the database so I would to need to reset it and start adding the channels again!
