Buco, I think that is true, but I also think that there are some teachers who use 'great' as a 'yes, and . . . ' kind of thing. But yeah, very matter of fact would be better for sure. Lot's of music students here are paying for validation perhaps?
@bbwood_98 I was thinking more as a parenting style. But what you said is the case with teachers as well. At least in the beginner stages. Once kids progress, the programs can be very rigorous. Even that was always funny to me. I met that in a workplace too, like "ok, this is a great start". Usually means "man, this totally sucks".
And this video
@bbwood_98
Thanks for posting this amazing video!
@Willie All Credit to Mr. @Buco on that one!

I'll be there, any other forum members attending? I'm also planning to busk in the streets of Augsburg with my "trio to be".
I have totally forgotten this movie, stumbled over it again just an hour ago.
The production team followed the Weiss family in Wilhelmsburg for about one year. Produced in 2007/2008 for German TV by Susan Sekerci, there must exist a German version too, but I only found this french one here:
Information about the movie from "movie pilot":
A bunch of information about the Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg seated Weiss Clan, their history and everyday life. But I don't really like the movie. Altough the director was supported by filmmaker Fatih Akin, who knows Wilhelmsburg very well, I find the narrative way a bit tiring.
