Anyone have relevant leads on Jazz Manouche scene in New Orleans- specifically jams or venues?
Got my eye on the calendars of Russell Welch, Dr. Sick, and affiliated bands (& have reached out to Dallas Vietty).
Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers

Definitely check out Russell and anything he is doing. I met him during Django a GoGo a few weeks ago and not only is he a monster player, he's exceptionally kind and patient. @Chiefbigeasy is a member on the board that lives and plays down there as well, so hopefully he will chime in with insights to the scene better than I could.
