Last Sunday we had quite a unique power trio on stage: Antoine Boyer, Stochelo Rosenberg and Paulus Shäfer. They are about the very best gypsy jazz guitar players of their generations. No bass, just three guitars, so much fun, so much interaction. Watch, listen and enjoy!

This was an acoustic concert for about 120 people. We are very fortunate to promote these giants.

Whoa looking forward to listening and watching this!
Thanks!
Beautiful! Thanks for posting.
Really good to see these guys playing acoustically and up close like that. Thanks for sharing!
Paulus played so nicely on Seul ce soir, Antoine had a really cool intro to Nuages (reminiscent of Julian Lage). And it was nice to watch Stochelo comping, he's actually such a great rhythm player and you don't get to hear it too often.
Thanks. Looking forward to check out those beasts.
Here are the videos embedded in case folks want to save a click. Fantastic, Melvin. Thanks for posting!

Extra song added "Double Jeu":
I love those what I'm thinking are 2/5 subs on Deuce A, makes it sound nice and fresh.
Was the person filming it actually moving closer to the solist or this is just the zoom? Because I get a sense that recording is nicely balanced where rhythm guitars aren't overwhelming the person soloing, current solo player is actually a bit forward sounding.
Hi Buco, I filmed these videos with my iPhone and yes I was just zooming in and out. This was such a great concert, as without amplification and without bass, these three guitar heros really opened their ears and started to play softly en gentle. Quite often, Paulus and Stochelo play with quite some attack, now they played a lot more subtle. Also Stochelo is a fantastic rhythm player, not often can we hear that.
