This will be my first Djangofest NW I'll be going to, but damn what a great line-up! I was shocked to see Bireli's name is on the bill. It sounds like it's going to be a great event!
I'm curious to hear what the concertgoers think of Opus 4. They're really hard-core players who understand the tradition, but they're a bit unorthodox in that they use resonator guitars and a six-string banjo instead of Selmac-type guitars. Plus, they sing quite a bit. Hopefully, they'll blow a few minds.
(Hopefully the concert organizers will go back and proofread this schedule; the names of Biréli Lagrène, Ameranouche, and Billet-Deux are all misspelled. It's not a huge deal; they just might not show up in some internet searches.)
