Also, Sims from Harmonious Wail has been playing tenor guitar in their band (along w/his mandolin, of course) for many years. So it certainly has a place in the genre.
Thanks for your replies and videos. I do know about Harmonious Wail and John Lawlor. Both are entertaining and inspiring. I also know about the Park guitars. Way out of my price range and I think my ability level doesn’t justify that quality of instrument.

Shelley Park makes a tenor guitar with a petite bouche. May not be the entry you are looking for, but it will be a high quality instrument.
