I've enjoyed moderating the song of the month, how about a trivia question of the month? Here goes, we'll see if folks are into it:
I've come up with 11 songs that Django recorded with the name of a color in the title. Some of them are fairly obscure, but let's make that fair game here. By the way, let's also make it a rule that the name of the color cant be modified, ie. we cant include Limehouse "Blues". Join in if you wish, please no duplicates. Try to do it from off the top of your head if you want to make it more challenging. In a week, I'll post my 11 & we'll see which ones the forum posted, as well as any I may have missed. Have fun with it!

Okay, I'll pick the lowest hanging fruit.....
BLUE DRAG
And is that English titles? Or does Les Yeux Noirs count because it is a French color, where the English title would give the descriptive adjective "Dark".
Nice Billy. I found a version of Dark Eyes that is listed as BLACK EYES on my cd, so that counts. 2 down, 9 (or more?) to go.
Rose Room
Black and White
Fleche d’Or
Sweet Georgia Brown
I think he recorded an early version of Purple Haze too?
Blue Skies
Ride, Red, Ride
Brick Top (implied red)
Nice, Guitar Mike. You got 2 more of my original 11 (7 to go) + 2 I didnt think about. Fleche d'Or was well played. I'll admit that I had to look up the translation to see the color in the title.
I Can't Give You Anything But Orange
Blue Moon
Excluding the many with Blues in the title:
My Blue Heaven
Blue Lou
Black Night
Honeysuckle Rose ?
Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea
Blue Light Blues
