Neck profile question

Hello, I've been playing GJ on a Martin, Ibanez, Strat - now I’m looking to buy a Selmer knock-off. Question - is there a good sounding oval hole GJ guitar with a less than original neck profile? I’m looking for a slimmer neck than I have found on the 2 Dell Arte I have played. Alternatively – should I be a man and learn to live with the think neck? Is there a sound tradeoff between a slimmer neck and the more trad tree-trunks? Any help would be appreciated

Check out the Gitane range made by saga.. there are loads of discussions on here about them. They have much thinner necks.. not the John Jorgeson model mind.. but the cheaper ones do. They are a really good price also..
