If you’re in, near, visiting or just passing through Madison, we have a weekly Django jam that you’re most welcome to sit in on, or just listen to. Usually the “regulars” are 3-4 guitars, accordion, clarinet, upright bass (it varies a little week to week, as things do). Guest musicians/singers c’mon down. We often play the typical DiJ chestnuts but we’re also always up for new tunes (waltzes, musettes, latin stuff, standards - bring a tune!)
Deets:
Every Wednesday, 7-9:00pm, Leopold’s Bookstore* (Regent St). Free.
*Leopold’s is fairly new, cool scene (lotsa people actually dress up!), fun high-end NYC-style bookstore, excellent bar, you can walk there from the UW campus. Our gracious hosts are expanding into the former Rocky’s, we play in there now that the weather is getting colder.
See you there!

What is a NYC style book store?
they have much less cheese and the books are thin enough to fold
Come on, Wim. It's Wisconsin. You know there's plenty of cheese, its just got beer with it. ;-)
I used to live in Madison, wish I was still there so I that I could attend weekly! If I am back on a Wednesday I’ll be sure to join. If anyone is into blues, check out the weekly blues jam on Thursdays at the Red Rooster.
