Cool! Love the look of the tailpiece insert. And with a resonator still functioning to boot!
Are the string posts turned towards the top?
Yes, this one has some of the early variations you don't see in later models. The stairstep tailpiece has the string posts underneath and the insert is tortoise. It also has macassar back and sides which may be the only one like that.
