In this Jazz FM program, Session Notes, she talks about her experience recording 1930s style in N Orleans onto a shellac disk.
Also references Django, Armstrong and other swing artists of the period.

I first met Alex when she was sixteen and first became interested in classic jazz.
It is a source of great satisfaction to me that her love and dedication for the 78 era jazz style has continued all these years and broadened and deepened.
