From the renowned Antoine Di Mauro, a 'Honolulu' model Hawaiian guitar probably made in the 1940s or '50s; I believe the popularity of Hawaiian music faded in France after that.
In excellent condition all round, The top is fine without any cracks, I had thought spruce but as it is a darker redder shade it could be cedar? The back and sides are a nicely figured maple and the neck looks like mahogany. The yellow button Delaruelle tuners are original as I believe are the bridge and tailpiece.
In collector condition.
The guitar is in Australia but I can ship safely; for a buyer in the USA it would cost less than US$1,100 delivered.
I have listed it in Reverb for the safety of both buyer and seller. More photos and info there.
