Ashes to Ashes...
Jimmy Rosenberg in this interview said they'd put cigarette ash inside the guitars with too much overtones, to make them dryer. Anyone tried this?!?! Does it actually change the tone?!

I remembered this coming up in an earlier thread. Here's that discussion:
In Hawaii, guitarists put charcoal dehumidifiers in their guitar cases. The effect is not permanent, though.
