What club is this that has a Swing & Jazz Manouche sign permanently? I want to know in case they are playing music when I'm there this summer.
Yeah, watched that one a few days ago. It was like a world cup slalom race but hey you slid through through the finish line just fine. Loved the intro. And despite the struggle it has a great groove.
It's called Chez George le comptoir des canettes, et it has music (mainly jazz and swing and manouche) every tuesday
Thanks Buco, we love to put a crazy uptempo like that and take only 1 or 2 choruses each so the version ends up under 3 min, so there s the good energy without the intense shredding of 7 charts per soloist (which i think even anoys musicians ahah)
Wonderful!!! China Boy is one of my favourites. Wish I had the skills to play it this fast. I'll give it a go later as I have a new Rode mic to try out.
