Does it have a domed top or it's a flattop? Sometimes, with Selmer style guitar, it can be quiet to the player but actually project very well. But neither of you liked it so that's telling.
@Willie i have no Information on this guitar but my guess is its made by an amateur luthier because it looks good but there is no sound.
@Buco you're right, if i play may small bodied Di Mauro Poema there is no bass so it sounds like a (very charming) banjo, when a friend played it for me the sound was surprisingly rich and full. The last time i couldn't decide if i should by the O-hole (670 scale) or the D-hole guitar (660 scale) from the same luthier i had the shop owner play the instruments for me (a Fapy Lafertin fan), to my surprise the difference in sound was smaller then i thought when i was playing them.
