Hey All,
I've searched a ton on the internet and I can't seem to find the melody for Oriental Shuffle. Does anyone have the tabs so I can get a sense of what's going on with those nice sounding sliding chords?

I don't know whether I'll ever be an excellent player if I keep practicing, but I'm absolutely sure I won't be if I stop.

The only tabs for it I've seen are in some books in the shop:

Try starting with this shape on the top 3 strings, and follow your ears-the shape remains the same for a while:
--15-----
--15----
--14-----
In the meantime, here's a standard version...
Best,
Jack.
I was able to figure most of it about my ear, but the phrasing after the harmony part is difficult. I especially like this line
----5----5----5--
----5----4----3--
----5----4----3--
----x----x----x--
----x----x----x--
----x----x----x--
simple and beautiful... very django

This one is pretty accessible by ear except for Django's turnaround after the first A part (over the Db7, Gb7 chords). I think I have it worked out but it is so fast that even slowed down to half speed it's still hard to hear with the distortion. I'd post what I think it is if someone can explain how to show the tab on this forum.
