Replace/repair single tuning peg on Barault

I have a Barault 2016ish, love it. But the tuning peg in the D string has a huge amount of play. He said that he couldn’t replace that peg, they only came in sets. I’d be content with something that didn’t even match if it was tight. Any ideas?
