Yes, crazy fast, but nevertheless I agree with @Teddy Dupont. I love to listen to players like Martin Gioani, who knows how to play fast runs too, but is playing melodic (and sometimes "complicated") lines most of the time, for example like he does in this tune:
There seems to be a tendency towards "as fast and tricky as possible", maybe due to the narrow market situation for professional gypsy jazz players. But I think this can be "boring to a high level".
