I'd love to check it out too. If I can stay healthy over the next two weeks I'll be there (people here in Central Cal coming down with Covid recently).
Dude, get better! I recommend taking daily 6,000 mg of vitamin c, zinc, 5000 iu vitamin d to shield up. Also, I know it's controversial, but as soon as i got covid, I took hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin and it was completely gone in 2 days.
When do you plan on disclosing to the secret? If not, will Shelly be incorporating this into future guitars? Final question - How loud is this guitar? Thanks!
Its up to Shelley to reveal this secret - and determine if she will use this in future guitars. I'm just another client who is also an instrument maker of 42 years, mostly in woodwinds. I asked her to try something of an experiment and she did, despite it being borderline to her comfort zone, and I think that the results are good.
However, her amazing guitars really don't need any improvement frankly.
Its gratifying to have a guitar that Bireli played on and seemed to enjoy, if briefly.
Alas Covid. The sound person and I seemed to be the only ones wearing masks last night. A few friends of mine went to a concert last week on Tuesday, then hosted a mall house concert on Thursday. On Saturday both tested positive for Covid. They suspect the concert on Tuesday was to blame, which means everyone Thursday was exposed.
Wear your Mask. Also I have heard that the new booster may be out as soon as this coming week!
This guitar barks really loudly when pushed. I am pretty gentle. Am not much of a player these days though with some arthritis and carpal tunnel issues in both hands!

I'll visualize you layin' down some sweet lines at DFNW.
I'm about to head to Seattle to see Bireli. I'll see if I can get any good footage on my phone and upload it.
