Ferret was by reputation as good a soloist as Django
Chalk and cheese!
You could combine all the Ferrets together and they still wouldn't equal half a Django
Good point.
I'm not going to tell Baro! Are you?!
Well apparently Baro himself has said it's not his technique that intimidates me, it's his mind.
That's intense.
i agree with Scott. Gopnik is a goof.
When Baro sees Django
😂
The article simply quotes the Dregni book and is full if inaccuracies. A really shoddy bit of work. - "Ferret (Baro) was by reputation as good a soloist as Django" is a particularly silly comment. Creatively Django is in a different league to Baro and that is essentially what Baro said himself. The suggestion often made by Michael Dregni that Django considered Baro a rival is simply not true. Django considered himself to be the best guitarist in the world and as Gerard Leveque said "He was right".

I had the same impression and I agree with Gerard Leveque.
