We inevitably look back at the year as it winds down. Here's my highlights for:

Live performance: Duved Dunayevsky and Daniel Garlitsky in Portland.

Favourite GJ recording repeatedly listened to: Paname, Jon Delaney

New to me version of a regular set list standard: What is this thing called love, Charlie Parker Jam Session, 15:54 incredible version!

New album not GJ: Arise, Amaury Faye (Belgium pianist with Julian Lee, sax).

Look forward to hearing others listening highlights from 2023.

Here's wishing all a happy, peaceful new year, full of great music!

Cheers!

Phil

Nice, Phil. Kessel's solo is top-notch on their version of WITTCL. Here's my addition to this cool thread: song in the GJ repertoire that has captured my attention as 2023 comes to a close, which I'm committed to learning in 2024--I Surrender, Dear. Here's a link to Django's version--
