Alfio Grasso was a great italian old-school jazz guitarist, with an incredible swingin' style and genial intuitions during both solos and rhythm parts. He played with the "Tullio Mobiglia Orchestra" in the 40's also if he was not part of Mobiglia's orchestra but was called in by the tenor player to take part in some recordings. Almost completely unknown in Jazz histories, he was for many Germans of that time, a real founder.
I've attached some extracts of his great playing.
