Dear friends, I am looking for the lyrics to the above songs. What I found in the web is part of "Tut hi tschi ..."
first verse
Tut hi tschi man hi tschi mi latschi tschai
gerau ho gamau un hi men tschi
ho nutzengo lowe un sonogei
hi men digno wago un i puro grai
mi latschi tschai
beginning of second verse
dja gina an o gab man tschop un kass
First verse: You have nothing, I have nothing, my good girl we do what we want and we have nothing what use is the money and the gold We have a small cart and an old horse my good girl
and nothing of "De man devla".
Here are the Häns'che Weiss Quintett versions I fell in love with decades ago; it's time for me now to learn those beautiful songs:
Tut hi tschi man hi tschi
De man devla

Tcha sings a version on the Romani album for "Tut hi tschi". Couldn't find the audio on youtube (there is a concert video) but here's the spotify link.
Fantastic version, the trumpet literally blew me away! Is it Storro Limberger playing?
Yes it is. I think that set the Limbergers apart in that I rarely hear trumpet played on any of the recordings by other artists. This Romani album and the DePiotto's album both have songs featuring his trumpet. Storro's playing is fantastic. A real bridge from early jazz into swing.
We used to have a guy sit in and play "Someday You'll Be Sorry" (L. Armstrong) and it always made me happy during that part of the set.
