    Interesting convergence of GJ lead and chord-melody techniques. Also, at the back of my mind's ear, Bucky Pizzarelli's chord-soloing. I would think that part of this depends on careful choice of key, since some of the accompaniment seems to depend on open strings or chord fingerings that provide the harmonic context.
