Hi folks,
I'm planning a visit to Paris in late September and would appreciate any info on gigs/jam sessions. Would be interested in non GJ events too, anything hot jazz related would be welcome.
Also looking for good places to buy CD's/vinyl if anyone has any suggestions.

Anyone know about Mondays at the Balajo? This flyer indicates dancing and seems to imply 1930s. It would be fun to visit the club just for the history, but even more so if they are playing swing music. Seems the other nights are more hip-hop, salsa, or other modern tastes.
Check out the Paris Jazz Club website, which has lots of gig listings. If you click "Search" at upper right, you can select Style: Gypsy to filter results.

Thanks guys
Mondays at piano vache, tues and weds on montmartre with the Brunards at Au Clairon Des Chasseurs. Fridays at L’Apostroph. Thursdays and Sundays at Monk. Monk is always an incredible jam with famous GJ players showing up. Check the photos on my website. Alex Swing Events will have tons of dates on his IG and facebook.
Oh nm my website’s down lol.
Thanks Gareth
For vinyl, Crocojazz on rue des Ecoles is my favorite. And I always recommend Bouillon Chartier for a traditional and inexpensive lunch in great surroundings, 7 rue Faubourg-Montmartre. I'm with Gareth re Piano Vache, a great place, but be advised it gets crowded!
I’m with scot on Bouillion Chartier!!!!
Monk Taverne de Cluny on Sunday eve for the gypsy jam. One of the best evenings on our last trip to Paris, seriously good players there
Fantastic, thanks guys.
