There's a Mordeglia oval hole 14 fret guitar on Reverb. With shipping from Italy to the UK, it would be about £680 - not bad at all, and it looks very nice with flamed maple back and sides and a nice rosette. Trouble is, I have no idea what it sounds or plays like - the usual problem with buying online.
It's certainly a good purchase though, and perhaps someone here would like it. Anyone played any oval hole Mordeglias?
Cheers, Jamie

I could swear someone here has a Mordeglia in the signature...
I've got two of his guitars -- an EH and an FU. Bought both new straight from Riccardo, & love them both. Each has their distinct voice. In regards to this particular ad on Reverb, I would seriously inquire into the guitar's condition.
Thanks. I made some enquiries and was quite close to pulling the trigger, but I decided that I wasn't willing to take a risk on an unknown guitar just now. I see it has now sold (I'm not surprised as £680 including shipping is a good price). It could well have been a great buy, but I really have some superb guitars now and have told myself that if I was to buy another, it has to be exceptional and I have to have played it before hand. I'm really only playing two guitars almost exclusively at the moment - a Dupont Busato Royale and a twenty year old Yohann Cholet Favino - they give me what I want but are quite different.
