from the django anthology- so any mistakes aren't mine (though I did not double check any of this so . .)
    A:
    D Bm7/Em7 A7/D Bm7/Em7 A7/
    D D7/G Gm6/1. G /G A7/ (kicks in last two bars- g on 1, g on
    2. D Gm6/D D7/ the and of 3, a7 on and of 3 of last bar)

    B:
    G / G#dim / D / D /
    F#m / B7 / Em / A7 /

then the a again with the second ending.
Again, don't know how right it is, but.
    Cheers,
    B.

Not a grille, but you can make us one! Here are some basic changes:

    D Bm7|Em7 A7|D Bm7|Em7 A7|
    D D7 |G Gm6|G | A7|*

    D Bm7|Em7 A7|D Bm7|Em7 A7|
    D D7 |G Gm6|D Gm6|D D7 |

    G |G#dim |D |D |
    F#m |B7 |Em7 |A7 |

    D Bm7|Em7 A7|D Bm7|Em7 A7|
    D D7 |G Gm6|D Gm6|D |

    *last 2 bars could be played: |Em7/B | Eb9 |
Also, try using an Em/G in the 2nd and 4th bars of the A sections.

    Best,
    Jack.

PS: I just saw Ben posted while I was writing this...oh well!

Here my grille, from Django-Stephane's version (Paris, March 26, 1947).
The "B" section is completely different!
    I've also attached a tab :D

As I recall there are various versions of the B section (improvised melody no?) I seem to remember playing alternate B section changes for the solos, something like: Bb-F9-Bb-F9-Bb-F9-Bb-A7 then back to what you had above for the head out.

Also the last measures of the first A, there is that rhythmic break during the head, around the G and A7 chords, but not during solos, so again, there is also a slightly modified A section for the solos.

    Hi Chuck,
I know there are various versions of A and B section, so I based my work on Django-Stephane's recording. I attach .jpg files from my .ptb file.
    PS: Nice website...

Nice work on the head, thanks for posting it as a .jpg. Powertab is about the one thing I miss not having on a mac computer. What your doing here in contributions is massive, you should be applauded, along with others, but your prolific postings lately are great!
