I have been trying to get a copy of that photo without the printing on it for years. The other two coloured Hervé Derrien photos from that session are often seen.

Here is a B & W copy of part of the photo from the cover of a 1953 "Jazz Hot". Django looks incredibly old and unwell in this photo:-

Yes, I see...
probably he was already sick, it's a typical symptom.
