I was offered that particular guitar but was told that if I did not take it, the guitar would be going to you and also to be viewed and reviewed by Michael Simmons. I told Robert that I would prefer to wait and get review first.. so you got it. Good for you !

As I am from Monterey (40 yrs there) and am going back and forth fixing up a house to sell.. I thought I might contact you and see it on my next trip. I'll send you an e mail before my next vist and see if that is possible...my latest planned trip has been delayed.

As to availability... ot that easy... few are coming over and the oval is more popular. Next availability is about 60 days.

Again great review and even though Asian in origin, seems svereal cuts above anything else.. and price is right

Hello and thanks for everyone's input... I actually have a shipment enroute which includes an Orchestre and a few Jazz models... this particular Orchestre may be spoken for already but was informed today that another will be here in time for the Santa Fe Djangofest... and a new shipment will be in England within a couple of weeks which will include a few more Orchestre models. Better!.....just kidding. They're both the same animal, except the oval has a smaller mouth and a longer neck. Everything said for the D is every bit as true for the oval.
