Everybody's favorite peppy up-tempo toe-tapper. Can't go wrong with 1-6-2-5-1 in two keys... Let me know if there are any enharmonic notation errors. The chorus below is by Nicola Vernuccio, playing in the Maurizio Geri Swingtet.
What I like about this chorus is how Vernuccio doesn't repeat whole sequences verbatim, which is easy to do in this tune! Instead, there's always a little variation to keep things alive and interesting. I like too how he plays up an octave in the second half of the B section -- so that section's main pitch/tonic note is *not* just a half-step above the pitch of the A section's tonic. This keeps the energy elevated, I think.
Whatever. Maybe I'm imagining things. I've altered the last bar to make the chorus "loop," if you like.
